Workspace Settings
Per-workspace configuration: MCP servers, permissions, additional paths, and capabilities.
Location: Click the workspace settings gear (top-right, next to the main gear). On mobile: tap the three-dots menu, then Workspace Settings.
Workspace Settings is separate from the main Settings dialog. It covers things scoped to the current workspace only. Two tab groups: General and Capabilities.
General
| Panel | What it does |
|---|---|
| MCP Servers | Connect and manage MCP servers for this workspace |
| Permissions | View and revoke tool permission grants |
| Additional Paths | Add directories outside the workspace the agent can access |
Capabilities
| Capability | What it does |
|---|---|
| Memory | Persistent memory across sessions. The agent remembers. |
| Skills | Agent-managed skills. The agent creates and updates its own instruction sets. |
| Session Search | Recall past conversations. The agent searches through previous sessions. |
| Workflow | Parallel orchestration. Complex tasks fan out to multiple subagents. |
Capabilities are what make the agent smart over time. All four are off by default. Toggle them on per workspace. Each capability (except Workflow) has a risk level that controls when the agent needs your approval before writing. See Agent Capabilities for the full guide.
